Overview The ultimate in domestic or commercial security systems. Total Security Management Systems combine some or all of the technologies listed on this site and merge them in to one powerful and versatile control network. Integrated systems are usually computer based and are designed so that the "End Station" control point can be fitted locally (i.e. within the protected premises) or remotely (at any location in the world the client may require). These systems, in their ultimate form, can control Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems, Access Control systems, climate control, doors, gates, barriers, lifts, Public Address systems and much more. In fact, if it runs on electricity, UK Watch can probably integrate it into a control system. Central control for larger organisations For organisations with many remote sites, UK Watch can set up an "in house" central monitoring station. We are authorised dealers of the ground breaking Opus Professional © software, developed by Grovedime Limited, that comes with enormous flexibility and the ability to control many different technologies. This level of integration will enable ALL sites to be monitored and controlled from one central location by the clients own security staff. If required, responsibility for arming and disarming the remote sites alarm systems can be completely removed from the distant locations staff and be given to the dedicated security staff at a central point. Any alarm activations, including fire alarm activations, would be immediately transmitted to the clients Central Monitoring Station where appropriate action could be taken in line with company policy. Access could be granted or denied via an intercom or access control system and barriers or gates could be opened to allow entrance and exit. To supplement this ability, CCTV systems can be designed so that LIVE images of any intrusion are immediately transmitted to the Central Monitoring Station via an ISDN line, where the staff will then have the ability to turn on sirens, lights, Smoke Security Systems etc as well as being able to transmit live audio warnings to the would be intruder. All events can be fully recorded in digital format both at the remote site and at the Central Monitoring Station to provide two sets of time and date stamped evidence. Cost effective solutions As a more cost effective option where less control between sites is required, your Total Security Management System can be run by the Galaxy 512 range of off the shelf intruder alarm panels. Whilst this option offers slightly less functionality than a PC based system, many major clients have found them to be more than adequate for their needs at a far lower cost. UK Watch has been involved in Beta testing versions of the management software in these best selling commercial panels, long before it was released to the general security industry, an honour bestowed upon us by the manufacturer as we had provided a level of integration to an existing client never before seen in any application, anywhere, ever! Complete control of remote sites When using a Galaxy 512 based system, the client can remotely control ALL off site intruder alarms, open specific doors at the off site location, control gates and barriers, activate dedicated outputs (therefore allowing simple switching on and off of any electrically controlled equipment), change, add or delete any user access codes, view security logs, control lighting, perform security system tests and activate automated CCTV systems. Each site has the ability to be controlled by up to five remote users via a modem (each one with an individual code). Therefore, if required, the client can designate four remote system administrators PLUS have full control from their home based PC. Contracted control for smaller organisations Where the number of sites would restrict the need for an "in house" Central Monitoring Station, UK Watch is able to connect the clients systems to dedicated commercial monitoring stations, where the same facilities are offered for an annual fee. Summary Total Security Management Systems offer such a wide range of control and reporting options that it is almost impossible to list them all. Time and time again we have been presented with queries from clients who have believed, that due to the specialised nature of their own industries, remote security integration was not possible. To date we have NEVER had to refuse a clients request due to the inability of our equipment to control the application. As long as the control protocols are available from your equipments manufacturers, we will integrate it.
